A Shampoo Walks Into a Bar...

IT'S FRIDAY!
First of all, it should be known that I do not get paid for this plug in any way. This is not a sponsorship. However, if any big wigs at Lush read this (yeah, right) and want to pay me in Lush products to write about Lush products...I'M YOURS!

This little baby, pictured below, is my new secret weapon.

This is the Godiva shampoo bar by a snazzy little company called Lush

They make vegetarian friendly (going vegetarian is my 2013 goal, provided the world hasn't ended) natural beauty products, like soaps, bubble baths, and hair dyes, from things like fruit and veggies. They invent all of their products themselves, make them by hand, use little to no preservatives, and the packaging is super Earth friendly. They do not test on animals, nor do they buy from companies who do.
This company only encourages my parents worst nightmare-that I will become a tree-huggin', no bra wearin', Earth lovin' hippie.

Anyway, back to my Lady Godiva. This looks like a bar of soap.
But you're only half right there-it is actually a bar of shampoo. That's right.
You heard me...shampoo in a bar.
This has cocoa butter in it, which ultra conditions if your hair is super dry like mine. I use a conditioner in addition to this, but you don't have to if your hair is in good condition. It's about $10 but this little bar will last you twice as long a bottle of shampoo. It's travel friendly, vegan friendly (no this is NOT one of my life goals), and smells heavenly in my opinion. Also, it has no sulfate, so if you do decide to try this out, you will notice a difference, especially if you cut out all forms of sulfates in your hair (another one of my hippie goals).
This is just a classic case of one gal loving a product and to quote Sir Ron Burgundy:
"I just wanted to shout it from on top of a mountain, but I didn't have a mountain. I had a newsroom and a camera."
Or in my case, a blog.

If you try this awesome product or any other Lush product, let me know in the comments.
Have a wonderful weekend! Be the change, y'all!
